This will definitely become a problem if we qualify for Europe next season. In all seriousness how many club trained professionals do we have in our first team? Shoddy squad building.

You should have the likes of Moore & Lankshear coming back in to the team at that point.

We've got a problem if he's our #10 too. Fingers crossed Kulu and Maddison's fitness means it only happens if we're protecting a lead in the dying stages

If you have Gallagher as the #10 with technically stronger players around him you will see a very effective player. The issue is when he is the 4th strongest technical player you have. Add in a fit Kudus & Solanke with the singings we have made and are linked to and he will be a big player for us.

Everyone wanted to see spurs go down last season and now next season we will get even more eyes on us to see us fail - hope we can handle the pressure.

He's a sprightly little nugget, so can play 10 or wide forward or forward, but he isn't a lump like Solanke / Evanilson / Thiago so you can't play off him very well, he will get flattened by centre backs, a bit like playing Defoe up top. People remember all the great goals from Defoe and forget how absolutely hopeless he was at certain things.
I see people are claiming players like Savinho/Marmoush can play striker, but they are so flimsy.

Yes Harry Redknapp's darkest hour , down to 10 men and brings on Defoe for 2nd half to battle against Ramos, Carvalho , Pepe and Marcelo.

And on the topic of next seasons squad, at the moment I make it 22 senior non HG and only 17 will make the PL squad, Xavi probably not going to make first half of season and who knows whats happening with Deki, need to shift some to make room for any more coming in.

It's gonna be very different from a year ago, that's for sure. Likely 5-6 new starters compared to the team that started last season.
