I wouldn't object to Sá as competition for Kinsky (assuming Vicario is moved on), he seems a decent enough keeper to me. Not sure about the others.

I read it as he's in a high percentile for actual numbers attempted, but a low one (or more likely, looking at the chart, low on a min-max range for the league) for efficiency. In other words, he's very highly involved but not exactly elite when it comes to delivering relative to his peers. If...

    Daniel Levy - Former Chairman

It's ENIC all over.. They're a property investment company first and foremost, and their imperative is maximising the value of their assets ahead of eventual sale. They're not interested in football, any more than they're interested in go-karts or the lyrics of Beyoncée songs. Having said that...

    Champions League 25/26

Sure, so have I. You're always going to get edge cases where an official has to make a judgment call about whether a player has tried to gain an unfair advantage (which is what it ought to boil down to in my view). That's always been part of the game, and I think most people who aren't called...

Inadvertent, ball to hand, not handball.

Hand to ball = handball; ball to hand = not handball. Especially with VAR, it ought not to be beyond their wit to apply that reasonably satisfactorily.

    Vinai Venkatesham - CEO

He's history now, but I think Frank is a decent coach with decent ideas, just altogether the wrong fit for our situation and, in the end, probably a victim of his own logic. My belief is that, having taken the job on, he discovered he didn't fancy the mix of players he had at his disposal here...

The overwhelming feeling is one of relief that it's finally over. Big, big changes needed for next season. RDZ gets it, though, I can see that. I feel like I could sleep for a week.

Yep. Whether it's the right approach or not, without knowing the personalities and group dynamic involved, I wouldn't presume to say, but all we can do is trust that he is in a position to make that judgment. You do feel it's about time for them to stand up and really be counted.

But none against Arѕe, who were objectively the worst offenders by any measure.

Perhaps we'll get some mealy-mouthed, laughing-up-their-sleeves apology from PGMOL after we're relegated, in part through their incompetence.

I'd rather have three of him than include either of Richarlison or Muani.

The we are staying up thread

In an interesting partial symmetry, given that we've just played them and West Ham have got them on Sunday, when Leeds went down in 2023, their final two games, which, along with Everton's final-day win against Bournemouth jointly sealed their fate, were West Ham away and us at home. Had they...
