Yep, if we have RDZ for a few years…or anyone for a few years/tears😉

Goals and assists (which we need in spades). Versatile (mostly has played RW, but can play LW and as an attacking midfielder. Left-footed (which we lack). Experienced international. Takes free kicks and corners, and has taken penalties. Played in 36 of 38 PL games this past season, and in most...

    João Palhinha

'De Zerbi told everyone at the press conference that he 100 percent felt that Palhinha deserved to stay at N17 permanently, and he reiterated that point, obviously, after the win against Everton'. Asked if he would like to keep the Portuguese midfielder, De Zerbi said: “Yes I would like to keep...

There’s risk involved in clubs not buying player(s) too…as we can attest to.

Thomas Frank - Former Head Coach

Indeed...up to and including winning the cup. Ange got credit for winning it, and for diverting energies and focus away from the league. Fair enough, he seized an opportunity that just so happened to become available to him in that particular season. But as you indicate, the outcomes may well...

...on the right players. We're top 4-6 spenders but results haven't reflected that. Other clubs have spent less, but they have spent better, and their results have reflected that...

    João Palhinha

Yep, certainly one of our better and successful loan signings for sure, along with Danso too. Both were very instrumental in us staying up.

What defines a 'bad' league vs a 'good' league? Apart from opinion, how is it objectively measured with any clarity? I've heard, for example, that top to bottom this season was a stronger PL than last season.

Be that as it may, is there something inherently wrong with that on an internet discussion forum?

    Djed Spence

Yep, agreed. His versatility - LB/RB/RW - should help facilitate his return, especially with our history of injuries in mind. Earlier in his career, under several different managers and situations, one could see he had some skills, talent, and was athletic. Djed showed promise, yet I wondered...

    Roberto De Zerbi *OFFICIAL*

People mostly see what they what to see. And read in to it what they want to read in to it. I'd imagine preparations, tactics, schemes, lineups and, yes, team talks, aren't the same for every game anyway. Neither are interviews and press conferences. Depends on many things, the opponent, the...

I hear ya, but I think I would. Well, dependent on a few factors anyway… He was passed fit to play last week…and did, coming on in 2nd half. He played well, and hopefully pulled up well. Assuming he did, then I feel the same opportunity could be available again. Reckon some of that will be...

    Dejan Kulusevski

I think maybe the best version of Kulu I saw here was under Conte. In fact, I recall Kulu being hailed as 'world class' at that time...and he was only 21 when he first joined us.

Yep, just as we maybe have too? We wanted him from Ajax, were upset he turned us down, and then last season were praising him and saying we missed the boat.

Poch? Btw, wasn’t Alonso available to us a couple of times…and yet the reaction in here was, might one say, luke warm?

    Randal Kolo Muani

…and as I recall not a view that was ever really proposed in here, agree? And if it’s born some fruit, begs the question it should have been done sooner?

Yep, and have we considered the ref's predicament? It's all very well saying that 'once he didn't give it on the field we were toast'. However... Given where it happened, was he particularly close to it? Was his angle ideal? The touch on the ball by the opponent (if there was one) was heading...

    Antonin Kinsky

Yep, and he's 6'3 and only just turned 23...and I sometimes forget that after this season he will still have 5 years left on his contract here. I also like his ability and willingness to come off his line to claim or clear high balls in our box which I feel has helped us a lot in recent games.

    Antonin Kinsky

Well, Vicario got injured...and he's still out injured. Its possible Vicario would still own the shirt, and would never have lost it if he hadn't got injured. I do think Kinsky has done well overall since he's been in there. Anyway, as mentioned above...do you see Kinsky as a long term no.1...
