World Cup 2026: Mexico, USA and Canada

the Harry Kane national team

How he grabbed the game by the neck and shoved England through to the next round, magnificent finishing, questionable defending though but you got to make the most of their lapses

Thought Spence did ok, but not in a month of Sundays is he a better RB than Porro....
Spence won't start next game. It will be anyone but him, probably Konsa with Stones in the middle. Tuchel was getting really tinkled off with Spence and Madueke tonight

Funny game, England second best for most of it.

Konsa is a liability.

Gordon got two assists but has been generally awful.

Madueke was poor, Saka was ten times worse.

Kane had some decent moments, and two goals obviously but looks sluggish overall.

Their keeper was great, probably man of the match, but he’ll be disappointed with the winner, his positioning was awful.

The lack of tracking back at times was criminal.

Back to basics against Mexico, must work harder.

Yeah I didn't think he was that bad, but the consensus from the pundits was that he had a poor game today and was talking about whether Rice or someone else would be right back next game.....

I think the keeper would be more disappointed with the first goal, that was definitely stoppable. Kanes second was unstoppable....

I don’t agree, bullet header down to his right, less time to react.

The winner was hit hard, but wasn’t in the corner and was a more comfortable height and he should have taken two steps to his left the second Kane moved it to the side.

Which was embarrassing from the pundits. I kind of felt Hart wanted to call it out but didn’t want to go against the reps of Rooney and Richards.

Spence was fine, he was quite clearly subbed because we needed something different going forward, otherwise we were out, not because he was particularly bad himself, it was a situational sub.

The more I watch football the more I realise how easy it is to play and although I'm pass my prime at 80 I could still do a good job in goal, I'd have definitely saved both of Kane's goals as well as scoring the one Wissa missed. I'm like a fine wine get better the older I get.

Me too mate, it’s frustrating watching these young whippersnappers make such basic misjudgements.

Saka and Eze changed the game?????????

Also, Shearer needs calling out, didn’t stop moaning about a dive in the Germany Paraguay game, had a completely different attitude when Harry did it.

Complete hypocrite.

Here we go, Spence the spacegoat!

I missed the first 20 minutes, but saw the goal obviously, Spence was beaten once in the period I watched the game and still got back to get studs on the ball and alter the cross, other than that he did alright.
He was dreadful.

The goal wasn't on him, Pickford was poor and Madueke was lazy in not tracking back to help.

Spence tried to fill holes as Madueke stood and watched. Then the pundits singled out Spence.
