He's a sprightly little nugget, so can play 10 or wide forward or forward, but he isn't a lump like Solanke / Evanilson / Thiago so you can't play off him very well, he will get flattened by centre backs, a bit like playing Defoe up top. People remember all the great goals from Defoe and forget how absolutely hopeless he was at certain things.
I see people are claiming players like Savinho/Marmoush can play striker, but they are so flimsy.

His similarity ends with Defoe at his size and right foot. His technical ability is so much stronger and his work rate is far high and that allows him to play il top on his own the same as Aguero & Suarez.

Yes Harry Redknapp's darkest hour , down to 10 men and brings on Defoe for 2nd half to battle against Ramos, Carvalho , Pepe and Marcelo.

And on the topic of next seasons squad, at the moment I make it 22 senior non HG and only 17 will make the PL squad, Xavi probably not going to make first half of season and who knows whats happening with Deki, need to shift some to make room for any more coming in.

Ok fairly certain Vicario, Romero, Dragusin, Sarr, Solomon, Richarlison will go and Takei will get another loan.
